Below you will find the breakdown of chosen presentation topics for the week. You will be assigned a time frame and sport for each week. Your job will be to create a report that adequately covers the important event that you've chosen. You will have four class periods to choose a topic/event, gather information, create a report, and prepare a presentation. Presentations will be graded using the rubric found on the document page. We will utilize different presentation applications for different assignments. One week may be a written report, the next may be a PowerPoint, the next may be a podcast, etc... . You MUST complete at least three (3) different types of reports throughout the semester.



Written Report:
- 7-10 Paragraphs, MLA Format
- Event, participants, famous names
- Detailed account of event (What happened? Results?)
- Historical importance (Why we should know about this event)
- Oral presentation of report

PowerPoint:
- 2-5 minute presentation that covers the chosen event.
- Event, participants, famous names
- Detailed account of event (What happened? Results?)
- Historical importance (Why we should know about this event)

Podcast:
- 2-5 minute audio podcast acting as a journalist covering the event
- Assume the role of someone attending the event OR re-enact a radio broadcast of the event
- Event, participants, famous names
- Detailed account of event (What happened? Results?)
- Historical importance (Why we should know about this event)

Video Project:
- 2-5 minute newscast of event OR re-enactment of event (be creative, do your best to be accurate).
- This project could include clips of the event found on DVD's or YouTube.

Student Choice:
- What would you like to create to convey your chosen event?
- Come up with your own type of project. Integrate art, technology, video, writing, audio, acting, ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE, but within reason.
